While truly antique rings are — by definition — at least 100 years old, we’ve incorporated the most iconic elements of these stunning styles in our vintage-style wedding bands using modern crafting techniques.
One of the most easily identifiable features of an antique-style wedding ring is the presence of tiny spherical beads, known as milgrain, that typically wrap around the edges of antique wedding sets. You will notice generous milgrain details around the bands and bezel-set gems of our featured designs.
The other signature feature of vintage-inspired rings is the curling organic metalwork shaping known in the jewelry world as filigree. While we tend to use this technique the most in our antique-style engagement rings, you can still find some beautiful metal details in our antique wedding bands for her.
A popular movement at the turn of the 20th century, Art Nouveau introduced nature-themed motifs with a focus on flowers, insects, and animals. Art Deco was the movement that followed Art Nouveau and lasted from around 1910 until 1940. This movement put the spotlight on geometric forms — a feature that we’ve highlighted in our antique wedding bands for her.
Built on the legacy of three generations in gemstone jewelry, AZEERA is part of a continuing story that began with our grandfathers in 1944. Now with the advantages of advanced gemology studies and modern technology, we are taking traditional craftsmanship into the future. We invite you to learn more about our process by reading about us here.
